How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Our printing centres are located Australia-wide which means your 'tracked' order will typically arrive within 5 business days for standard shipping. If you need your order quicker, express shipping is available at checkout. To provide complete transparency, all specific delivery times are provided at checkout.
Am I able to choose a background colour and font style?
Absolutely. We will work with you to get the portrait to be truly customised to meet your every need. Simply reach out with your preferences here
What sizes can I order my pet portraits in?
We have four sizes, A1-A4, for single-pet portraits in portrait orientation, and for double and triple-pet portraits which come in landscape orientation. If you're looking for a size not listed above please contact us directly to arrange a custom size.
Do you offer revisions of pet portraits?
Although many competitors don't offer artwork revisions, Designer Pet Portraits includes a FREE digital download which comes with unlimited artwork revisions with all Fine-Art Print products.
What resolution is the digital download?
This is a high resolution 300dpi image file.
Are your phone cases going to protect my device?
Our Custom Pet Phone Cases are designed for durability. Our tough cases are shock absorbent giving you peace of mind that your device will be protected.
What type of frames do you use for pet portraits?
All frames are made with high quality perspex glaze creating a modern satin finish with clean lines. Frames are delivered fully strung and include a sawtooth hanger. Ready to unpack and display.
I don't have any photo's with all my pets together. Can I use multiple photos for a Two/Three Pet Portrait?
Yes, our pet portrait artists can use multiple photos to create Two/Three Pet Portraits. The pets do not need to be in the same photo.
Can I print out the Digital Pet Portrait copies myself?
Yes you can. Our Digital Pet Portraits give you the flexibility to choose your own printer or even print it out at home. For the best quality we do recommend using a professional printer or purchasing our printed pet portraits.
How quickly can I get my Digital Pet Portrait?
Digital Pet Portraits have by far the quickest turn-around time. We can have digital pet portraits completed and emailed to you within 1-2 days.
What if my order gets damaged in transit?
Our printing and shipping partners use high quality corrugated cardboard packaging to ensure your order does not get damaged in transit. In the exceptionally rare case where this does happen we will order a replacement to be shipped to you via express or overnight shipping free of charge.
Can I order a pet portrait with more than three pets?
Yes. You can contact us directly for a custom quote if you'd like more than three pets to be included in a single portrait or dog portrait.
A portion of my pet has been cut off in the photo, can you improvise the artwork to include the part that is not visible?
Yes. Our artists will be able to add in any parts that are missing from the photo (ears/paws/legs etc) to ensure we get a complete picture of your pet.
I've found another pet photo after I've submitted my initial photo. Can I send this one through?
If our artist has already commenced work on your portrait (usually within 1-2 hours) we charge a small fee of $10 to replace the pet portrait photo.
Is the gold trim option printed in metallic gold?
Due to printing limitations, the gold trim options are not printed in metallic gold. To see what gold trim will look like in printed form please see our photo reviews above.

What makes for the best pet photo?
To get the best pet portrait outcome we recommend:
1. Taking the photo of your pet in natural light (daylight is preferred)
2. Getting down low to help capture your pets chest upwards
3. Experimenting with multiple angles especially if you're taking a photo for cat portraits
4. Your pet should ideally be looking towards the camera or slightly away and to an angle
